String Sizing: Don't Be a Dumb Aussie

Step 1: Find your panel's Vmp (voltage at max power) at 25°C. Example: 37V for a common 330W panel.
Step 2: Adjust for Australian temps. Use this formula: Vmp × (1 + (T - 25) × 0.0045). For a 40°C day: 37 × (1 + (40-25)×0.0045) = 37 × 1.0675 = 39.5V.
Step 3: Check your MPPT's specs. Most 12V systems need 18-36V input. 24V systems need 36-72V. If your string voltage is outside that, you're screwed.
