Heat Mats: Stop Wasting Seeds

Most veggies need 20-25°C soil to germinate. Cold soil = dead seeds. Heat mats are non-negotiable.

Supplier: Solar Superstore (Sydney-based, ships Australia-wide)

Humidity Domes: Cheap & Essential

Without a dome, your seeds dry out in 24 hours. No power needed. Just plastic.

Pro tip: Cut the dome in half for 2 trays. Saves money. Saves space.

Lighting: 14 Hours On, 10 Off (No Excuses)

Leggy seedlings = wasted effort. You need 14-16 hours of light daily. Cheap LED is the only way.

Supplier: Growit (Australian-owned, online)

Product: 20W LED Grow Light $25

Reality check: That's less than one week's coffee at the cafe. But it'll feed your family for months. Stop overcomplicating. Heat mat + dome + LED on timer. Get it done.
⚠️ SAFETY WARNING: Working with electrical systems, structural modifications, or gas installations carries inherent risks. If you are not confident in your abilities, always engage a licensed professional.
